According
to locals, Sunday's cabin was once the original church in this small
Pa. town. This cabin is the biggest and nicest we have ever seen!
It is two story, hand hewn oak measuring 28 by 35 ft! (2000 square
feet in original building!!! Plus 960 in attic). Dates to at least
1800's, possibly late 1700's. The faces range from 10-17" wide.
All the original flooring, doors, hardware are included. Flooring
is footworn ranging from 8-14" wide! The purlin system is beautiful,
rafters are hand pegged. The first floor joist system is side by side
sleepers all the way across (presumably to hold the weight of the
congregation). There will not be another building this old, large
or perfect coming along again! Call for more information, pics, pricing,
reassembly or shipping costs. Ricki Chaikin, J.C.Woodworking 267-404-2214/215-651-2049
