Christmas Cabin.
The Christmas Cabin is actually a new
hand hewn log cabin that my wife and I bought through a charity auction.
We were going to build it on some property that we owned with family
in Virginia, but were unable to for personal reasons. We
are offering it for sale for less than our actual cost.
The cabin was completely hand built
under the guidance of a professional log home building crew and gifted
to a charitable organization called One Special Christmas that uses
the proceeds to buy gifts for underprivileged children for Christmas.
It is approximately 18’ x 20’
with a full loft. I am 6’5 and I can walk around upstairs without
a problem.
The cabin comes with engineer stamped
blueprints, and a handbook for building it or to give to a contractor.
The retail value of the cabin would
be about $19,000.00 then you would have to pay for shipping.
The structure is made from Hemlock
logs.
Shipping estimate to somewhere on the
east coast: $1500.00.
It includes all the wall logs, the
foundation log, roof trusses and floor joists for the loft.
We are offering an allowance in the
purchase price for shipping it. We would actually handle getting the
cabin loaded on a tractor trailer for you on our end, you would need
to have the equipment on your end to get it off.
Asking price for this
cabin is only $14,500.00 including shipping it to your property on
the east coast.
