I
am in need of 2 or 3 logs for a replacement project. They
would need to be hand hewn and a hardwood species, fairly
flexible in this regard. Log sizes are as follows: 16"
diameter at butt end x 20' long (8" thick) 18"
diameter at butt end x 20' long (8" thick) 16"
diameter at butt end x 10' long (8" thick) Let me know
if you have these or know of anyone who would have them.

I am trying to help a friend find replacement logs for his
log home that has rotting logs. The profile is a 6"x8"
with a convex round on each side. We have been looking and
looking and cannot find anyone who can help us. One company
up near Boone have the knives, but the setup fee is close
to a $900 and my friend needs less than 150 linear feet
of logs. Please email me back if you can help him and I
will send the email on to him. His name is Alan and he owns
Dogwood Kennels in Catawba, NC. Thanks so much for any help
or direction you can provide.
